Giant Squid

I was extremely excited to hear about the footage taken of a live giant squid....that was until I did a little further research and found out that the squid also lost a tentacle in the process...research is fine and I understand that the injury is not life threatening, but we still don't have any right to injure something that's just minding it's own business in nature. We've screwed up the environment enough without damaging it more in the name of research...
