Our internet is still down at home (which means I get to run around in circles on the phone trying to figure out who can fix it...)

So this is my latest blog update....

We're reading "The Circus in Winter" in English right now. It's fairly interesting. I like it better than Rick Bass at least. The author still has a choppy storyline but I can track with it better and I feel like there's a plot going through it. I don't really like the characters but they're at least believable people.

We're also working on our historical fiction pieces. They're due next week. Mine's still floundering around somewhere trying to decide how to gain some momentum and go somewhere. I can't seem to manage to get my characters up off the couch (which may reflect on the fact that I myself can't see to do that lately either).

Emotional and physical drainage have left me wishing I had grabbed some coffee before I left to be at work at 7:30 this morning. Especially when I walked outside and there was frost on the ground. It's getting colder....bah. (Sounding like Fred is not helping my mood in the slightest either...take a break my ass....we're either together or we're not and I'm tired of hearing I don't know....)

Ah well, back to hiding somehwere in the lab I go.........
